Shannon Neal has over 25 years of experience in the furniture and home furnishings industry and founded High Point Furniture Shopping Tours in 2004. As a former international Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce, Neal has traveled the world promoting North Carolina and its products.
His work establishing agent, distributor, importer, and retailer contacts took him to U.S. embassies and consulates in Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Japan, and more. Additionally, Neal served as the Director of the NC Furniture Export Office. During his service, he continued to travel the world and promote the high-end furniture and home furnishings that North Carolina is now known for.
Happily married and reaching retirement, he looked around his home that was filled with unique antiques and furnishings. He decided sharing his passion for High Point and everything it offers was how he wanted to spend the next several decades.
